About mtproto.cloud

Open, free, no-signup feed of MTProto proxies and VPN configs for Telegram. The site aggregates public channels and sites, pings each entry, and publishes the result in 21 languages.

Who runs the project

The project is operated by the maintainer of the @mtrproxytg channel — an enthusiast who used to host private MTProto nodes for friends and later automated the whole flow: a parser pulls fresh proxies, a ping-checker drops dead ones, a publisher fans out the result to Telegram, MAX, Mastodon, Matrix and Discord. Why mtproto.cloud exists

When Telegram gets blocked at the network layer, you need MTProto proxies or VPNs — but they are hard to find across scattered channels where half the entries are stale. The idea behind mtproto.cloud is simple: gather only live servers in one place, re-check them every 5 minutes, and require no login, no subscription, no cookie banner. The site is an open shopfront — same content as the public channels, but verified and with a usable UI.

The stack

Backend is Python 3.11 — parser and publisher. OCR for the mtproto.ru captcha uses Tesseract + Pillow. The web server is a plain BaseHTTPRequestHandler with no framework — keeps it fast and easy to maintain. All 21 locales are server-rendered so search engines and AI agents see correct titles and descriptions on first paint. The feed refreshes every 5 minutes.

Funding

The site is funded out of the operator's pocket plus small voluntary donations. If it helped you, thanks for chipping in — the 'Antarctica' donate button in the site header is real. No ads, no affiliate proxies, no referral kickbacks. The principle: "free means free".

Data sources

Proxies are parsed from public Telegram channels: @mtp4tg, @TProxyRU, @ProxyMTProto, @JustMTProxy. Additional source — mtproto.ru (via automatic captcha solving). No undocumented APIs are used — only publicly available data.

Privacy

The site does not collect accounts, run fingerprinting, or load ad networks. The only analytics counter is Yandex.Metrica, so we can tell which pages get hits and whether new locales are worth shipping. Full details on the privacy page.
